An artist that we have championed since we first heard her last year with her first single ‘Kiss and Tell’ is back with a cracking new power ballad and we can’t get enough of it.
“Nothing Like you” is the eagerly awaited 3rd single from Independent artist Amy Naessens. It’s starts as a chill ballad with a gorgeous grand piano and lyrics reminiscing on the feeling of heartbreak but quickly builds to a euphoric “Coldplay” style anthem of true love with an epic climax and vocals.

If we are to take anything good from the current pandemic, it’s this brilliant new music as it was kindly sponsored by the Department of Tourism and Culture under the artist stimulus package 2020, so even the Government think Amy’s music is ace.
Naessens has been gaining recognition both at home and across the water since the release of her debut single ‘To Be The One You Choose’. Her music is a blend of pop, soul and R&B mixing powerhouse vocals with delicate songwriting. Naessens has spent the last two years gigging across the country with multiple performances from her, to name a few, Sea Sessions live and unsigned, Electric Picnic, Sofar Sounds and the renowned Ruby Sessions.
Following the release of her debut single, which was crowned track of the week by SPIN1038 and iRadio, Naessens took to the Whelan’s stage for a sold out, full band, headline show which was recommended amongst Irish press and radio including the Irish Times and RTE2FM. Her last single which we featured last year “Kiss and Tell” has received multiple radio play across the globe from England to Australia.
