With the announcement of the MTV Video Music Awards nominations for this year, some people are asking, where are the men?
Women lead the pack in a variety of categories with the highly fought award ‘Artist of the Year’ only contended by female artists.
Taylor Swift leads the pack with a total of 9 nominations and could make further history if she wins the ‘Video of the Year’ award by making it 4 awards, more than any other artist!
Other female artists who are close contenders for Swift include Beyonce, Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj and Dojo Cat.
